Which aluminum hexes fit?

I fitted wraith ones today, had to drill out the wheel centre and the hex centre but now it has the locking grub screw, 6mm wider stance, feels strongggg

My Blitz hexes should be here tomorrow night. Can't wait to install them because the factory plastic hexes on my Twammer like to stick to the wheels and that's a good way to lose pins.

Does anyone know the specs on the pins? I wouldn't mind having extras...

I don't know the specs but I know they are a smaller diameter then Axial hex pins. Since I broke two pins last weekend I'm planning on drilling out the pin hole in the axle so I can use the larger pins which I'm hoping are stronger.

These do... Losi: 12mm Aluminum Hex (5.7mm wide) (4): CCR: Losi (LOSA3186)

There is not a ton of these in stock right now but you may get lucky if you order now

I'm working on "rebadging" these under the Vaterra line for the future.

How did you break them? I've read your entire thread and know that you have a beastly setup. I had an aggressive full throttle rock bouncing session on one of my rock obstacles earlier and was surprised that the Twammer held together with zero carnage. Although I'm only temporarily running an AE2 and rc4wd 35t on 2s until Friday... Mmp/tekin 13.5 on the way...

I'm running STRC Slash 4x4 hexes. They went right on and I didn't notice any slop in the pin, but it was super later when I put them on so it is possible. I beat on them with Roc412 power over the weekend with no failures though, so I think they're working well.

I;m trying to make sense of all this info. So the stock pins on the twin hammers are smaller in diameter than axial? And the axle itself if bigger than axial?

Have a set orders. Tired of shearing pins and stripping out the plastic hexes. Hopefully they will be here tomorrow or Wednesday

Thank you for the input, I have decided I am going to pull the trigger on the Losi's..

While I am making and order and paying shipping costs...

What else would you suggest ordering? What is likely to break, or worth upgrading?

I have a HH13t & BRXL ESC (TorqueMaster) and I am running 3s.

I heard the dog bones break a lot..

Any input is greatly appreciated, I would like to make as little orders as possible to eliminate shipping costs and it sucks waiting for a replacement part to arrive..

You are very lucky, in the United States are very easily spare parts and options, where I live,
in Italy, the situation is much more difficult.

For the other parts you want to buy, my opinion is, it depends on the type of use that you make
of the Twin Hammers, there is a large difference in resistance depending on the use,
the motor installed, the type of tires.
If you like speed and bashing, prepare to order many parts ...

I will be making an order today from RPP Hobby | Radio Controlled Cars, Trucks, Boats, Helis, Planes, Plastic Models for the Losi hex's.

This thread has been helpful. I went with the Slash 4x4 STRC hexes. They're about 1mm wider and fit perfectly including the pins.

My plan is to drill TH shafts for Axial pins and drill Axial hex's for TH shafts. Keeps all my rigs running same pins.
