Very nice work. I just bought the derwood steering, shock uprights, and servo relocation. But I don't really know what it looks like.

wish I could get my student version of Solid Works to cooperate. I'd be able to make parts in a hurry LOL. Oh well. Great job Tomster!

Incredibly clean install on that winch Tomster! Is the lead screwed into the plate or is it thru-hole screws with small nuts on the back? Can't tell in the pic.

What winch is that AND, will it pull the rig uphill?

The winch is from 3racing and yes it pulls the rig in scale manner! Yes, i will try to make a full Ultra4 light-kit and add some scale parts. The space under the hood is perfect for a small lipo pack and i will decide from race to race if i use it there. i think the rig is very balanced with the shorty flat in the chassis, its compensating the motor-weight.i will try to install the ESC, BEC and RX under the hood and than try it! Thanks! |

How did you reposition the spare? Once I get the front shock mount, I'll be repositioning the battery like you've done. Less weight out back is a good thing!

I'd like to see that spare tire mount as well. Looks like ive been attempting the same mods you are doing successfully. I think I'm going to be copying you a bit. Just curious. Are you using your th for mostly crawling or speed? |
