I know of no one that has tried it, but it could be worth a shot. The problems I see strait away are. The center link I believe will hit the front drive shaft or diff out put. If mounted on a flat top plate. Also the bell crack arms look as they would sit to low and cause bump steer, but a raised top plate would help there and possibly clear the drive shaft. The Blue monkey top plate that I am assuming you are going to use, is also very narrow where the arms need to be and those arms look long, I see weird Ackerman things happening. It is very tight in the TH not allot of room to play with and keep proper geometry.

Why not just buy Irie's one and know that it will be boss level to start with?

I tied mocking up stock plastic E-maxx bellcranks before I forked out the money for St. Eries bellcranks.

It's not going to work, the centerlink is too long, the bellcranks arms are too long, the spacing between the bushings is too far apart. But if you want to waste some time and money go ahead and try it. The pictures make it look similar, but if you lay the parts side by side the Maxx stuff is about 10% to large for the available space. To say that their is limited space on the TH for the steering is an understatement.

The St. Erie bellcranks is the best possible solution for the lousing sliding rack. IMO it was worth every penny to end up with a perfectly fitting and functioning steering setup.

Even if you have to ditch the blue monkey setup it's still worth it.
