Is there a way to know 100% which version I have? (Standard or HV?) I got it in trade and all I was told was it was heyok. It was wired up so that a cc bec was powering the rx which was then powering the hitec servo this controller and a servo winch. The AE2's bec was doing nothing. But the cc bec was only set to 5.5volts which I thought was odd.

Usually I put two bands of heat shrink near the receiver plug to identify the two position controller.
Send me a PM with a picture of the part.
Or, you could just try it.

Hi,

Thanks for checking out my electronics!
This is the part that will get you going:
4 Amp Relay Output Winch Controller
You will want the H option to work with the high receiver voltage.
Send me a PM and I will help you.

I'm hoping you guys can help me out.. I installed one of your controllers and all good once programmed. Works in and out with the 3rd channel buttons on my tactic stock controller. Everyonce in awhile it'll stick in either position and I have no control! I have to obviously shit my truck off to stop it. Once restarted it'll be fine for a awhile until it does it again. I don't have a lot of RC electrics experienece so any help is welcome please!

I have a question and I'm too lazy to read every post. I have a dx4c so it has 3 position switches that default to center. Does this controller stop the winch when you release the switch? As in you have to hold the switch to make the winch run?

When ever the servo signal is in the center position, the winch controller will be in "stop" mode. If this is what your transmitter does when you release the switch, then yes, the winch will stop.
Connect a servo to your winch channel and post up your results.

Ok I guess it is my tx then. Kind of figured it was the logic built into the tx. You always have to click the button back to center to get my current winch to stop. Which I hate. That's what I'm trying to figure out how to change.

Wish I could tell you but I don't have that transmitter.
I had a quick look at the manual, but if it says how to make it auto return to center, I'm not seeing it.
Here is the link to the manual if you want to have a look:

The "C" TXs don't have the ability to do what you want. You'll have to go to a "S" for momentary operation

Cool. Thanks for that info! I'll have to do more research before I buy my next radio.

I have been searching for this answer for awhile. I own the 4c and been disappointed with the switch operations. Lools like the new 5c allows this based on a video on youtube.
