I already called DNA this morning but I wanted to give you guys a heads up too. I picked up a 2.2 SSS chassis last Saturday and all the nylock nuts were the wrong size. I think they were standard 4-20s instead of the 3 m they were supposed to be.

If you pick up a kit, check the hardware. I'm sure DNA will take care of you.

Take it Easy,

Tim

Yep, I picked mine up Saturday from RC HQ in San Antonio. I guess it pays to live close to the manufacturer.

Do you know when HRP will have the SSS in stock?

Just checking, they say they have a mantis chassis for a AX10 in stock, that would actually be for the berg or a MOA rig, right?

We are still finalizing the final production SSS. I am actually waiting on parts right now I will post up when they ship out to HRP.

The Mantis is for MOA, not AX.

I'm going to send an email with photos over to the customer service email mentioned earlier and see if they can do anything for me.

Updating my older post above,

Solomon @ DNA once again took good care of me and got some new internals shipped up here. Haven't installed them yet, but I'm waiting for a free weekend so a buddy of mine can tweak the re-install.

Solomon even included a DNA sticker sheet with the package!

Thanks again to Solomon and DNA for standing behind their products and their customers. Nothing but good things to say about you guys.

i tried to do this in a PM to either of the DNA guys but wasn't able to do it....no name where i got the parts from, but i just bought your steel upgrade kit for your dig unit, great job on these parts ....i bought them from the only online r/c store that had them in stock....

when you send these parts kits to these stores do they have the shift fork in the package....the package i received looked like this....your DNA bag was opened and a zip-loc bag was with the parts in it minus the fork and looked to be heat sealed back into your parts bag but hanging out of it....

the other vendors that i looked at have the fork included in the description in there online store, but not on the site i bought from plus i didn't see just the fork for sale on his site either....seemed strange to me that i didn't get the fork, plus it cost me 5.00 more then others selling the same kit ....just looking for an answer before i go to this guy and ask him, when/if the fork is included from DNA...............bob
