Riddle me this...

I have a DNA dig unit, and I have enjoyed it for almost a year. Unfortunately for me, the screw that goes into the metal collar on the shift linkage stripped out. To make the timing even more ironic, I was just past the last gate, preparing to cross the finish line on the third course, when it gave up the ghost. LOL... just my luck. Here is my question.

I am going to make a new collar for the shift linkage. I was thinking of instead of using a round collar with a set screw, I might use a pinch collar instead, and then add a separate mounting point to the pinch collar to take the wear and tear of running.

Does this theory seem practical? Thanks for building a great dig.

Jim

I noticed on your online store the dig rebuild is not available, but 3 of the 4 pieces offered in the kit are available. When are the dig rebuild kits going to be available? I don't see the point in spending $45 for the front and rear out drives (even though that's all I need) when I can do the whole kit for $10 less?

Well, I know that it's tough to find (yes, at the bottom of the page), but here's a list of the vendors that sell DNA products:
http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=143201

That's $0.05 worth...
