Would love to hear if the pivoting rear shock mount is legal for 2.2 class. The rules are contradictory at best.

Nope, Losi's Comp Crawler is stationary, and does not move. Active Hobby's set up moves and allows the suspension to drop during certain situations. Look at their website here to see how their rear setup is different from Losi's.

This pic shows it compressed

This pic shows it is extended

Note the pivot in the above pic.

Yea your right. For some reason or another I thought I saw a pic of the losi comp's rear shock mount that was hinged. Guess it was something else. Ok, question still stands. Is a pivoting upper rear shock mount allowed?

6 link I've never seen that before? Can anyone show me that on a RC crawler or a 1:1? How does a 6 link work? What would be the advantage of that? Those low slung crawlers are pretty sick though! I can't believe they perform that good with less than a inch clearance when we over here stay around the 2 1/2+ clearance!

Is the bug body comp legal? I couldn't see any of the body under the rig and it doesn't look like it would meet the height min? I would love to learn so more about these rigs though!

Those are some crazy lookin' but effective rigs.
Wonder how they would do on granite, flagstone or shale?
That's what we have out here in Wyoming.
Barely have to worry about water unless you roll over into the river. HA HA!

I'm on it! I sent them a email and left a message at their office If anything it looks like it would be a blast to drive! After watching the video of them crawling with them it blew me away Makes me wonder why this hasn't been done over here yet?
