The only real issue I can see so far with running that low is that the skid would catch on everything it came across. I could never run one like that around here.

I would also guess that there is a bunch of weight in the wheels. Not that that is a bad thing...but it could be.

Like Kenny said, its all speculation untill somebody gets one in thier hands.

I wouldn't say that! This rig is going to take some learning for sure. And what they crawl on over there is a lot different than what we crawl on here. I love all 4 of my Losi crawlers

I crawled with these guys in Moab last year. Here is some unedited video. They did not do very well compared to the well setup rigs in Moab. Very cool and probably work well on a little different terrain.

I would like to see a set of Panthers on his rig. Looks like a little better tire and a little more tire height would help a lot. On the terrain we have here in the South I think it would do decent, out West....well.............

I have some more really up close video of how the suspension works. I would just need to clip the video and get it uploaded.

Yeah it is funny to see the tires from just a year ago huh Granted Panthers were out but it was still just a whole different group of tires out there.

I am having a hard time remembering my exact thoughts on it. My biggest worry is an inconsistent feeling truck. I strongly dislike a falling rate suspension which this is pretty much the definition of. Also the rear pivoting shock mount is something I think would feel uneven and loose.

Give all that, I would still really like to have one. I think it would be fun to setup and see what it could do. Like you said, a good set of tires could really do a lot. Adding a bunch of weight to the wheels I am undecided about though. Lots of weight with that suspension geometry......:?

HEAVY OIL would be my first move.

Yea, I wasn't think weight at all. Just tires really. I agree on the oil I think just like every other crawler we get our hands on that we can find the good and bad! When I get it in I'll play with it for a few weeks and ship it up to ya to tear apart and see if you want one and what you can come up with
