| Wraith Steering Servo hitting chassis. Everyone just cutting this off?
Was getting some binding when flexed. Cut off piece of chassis. hope it doesn't affect mounting brackets of future front bumper and winch. https://youtu.be/Ly0UhLFZCWI |

Looks like the servo arm/horn you are using is rather thick. I used a clamping servo arm like this: It's all academic at this point since you already trimmed the offending part. | |

You have two options, You can trim the crossmember like you are asking, OR you can flip the plastic towers the servo mounts to, It will suck your servo back just enough to clear everything.

possibly the servo plate needs be 180* ? L - R or even a 180* flip ? I can't see your plate's positioning... So if you posted a picture showing more detail regarding... we may see that something is amiss. are the servo's ears(s) flush to the mount(s)... or is there something sandiched between that and the mount(s) that pushes the servo forward ? ...just presenting some posibilities because it can't be an Axial engineered fault I'd think. I personally would not have cut the chassis for clearance without first looking for other resolve. I wouldn't believe that Axial could get it that wrong. And I'd think others would have been bitching long ago if it were in fact an issue !? but there are other servo mounts out there that will push the servo more rearwards. DCW's Dewanger servo mount !? maybe one of these... ? Bastens heavy duty one piece servo mount plate for the Axial Wraith Spawn / Jeep Wranger / Poison Spyder / SCX10 / Jeep Wrangler / Deadbult / Ram Power Wagon /Honcho / Dingo axles I use this one... YSS Alum Servo Mount for Axial Wraith [FS Style][Silver] [YSS_Alum-SrvMnt_Waith_F-Silver] - 2,808YEN(JP) : YSS Crawlers, dedicated to RC rock crawling parts! Believe I purchased mine on ebay. But they are offered likely by several proprietor's here. I also think integy lists these on their site as well !? I like it because it uses four screws, securing the alloy mount(s), onto the carbon fiber plate. and this equates to less opportunity for servo movement.
