Anything to crawl on in Newport news area?

I'm taking a trip from Arkansas to come up and visit family in Newport news in the middle of august. I wanted to know if I should bring my berg for some beach crawling. So, is there anything local worth crawling on?

Around here in Hampton Roads we do more trail riding then rock crawling. If you look on the first page of the Chesapeake thread it list the main spots every goes to.

Used to do some crawling at the boat ramp at Hunnington Park there in Newport News.


Haven't been out there in a while though.

Has some rocks on the beach, so you can do some scale crawling, and there are also some larger rocks that you can mess around on.

Waller Mill park, exit 238 on 64. Google map it and itll give you directions. It really awesome for scaler and other trail rigs!!!!!! Not a real challenge for comp rigs, but still fun!!!
