Just wondering where you heard that number from? I really hope it's that low. I may wait on the DRX VE if that price is true and it's available soon.

I asked my LHS and they got the price from their distributor.

I was in hopes that it would have the same drive train as the Apache's. That Pure Beef.

That would be nice to have all the VE8, Vorza, Apache and D8 upgrades but I think that's a little over kill for a car.

It would be nice if MIP or Tekno made something. Seeing that it is now 3 different vehicles with nitro or electric options maybe they could sell enough to make it worth their time.
I may have to pre order one of the WR8 Flux now.

Does anyone know if the Vapor ESC with the Abu Dhabi body is waterproof? The Gymkhana edition clearly says the Vapor ESC is waterproof, but not on the Abu Dhabi one at all. But since they're the same ESC I would hope they're both waterproof.

Not sure if this was mentioned, but there seems to be a nice future selection of aluminum chassis parts for the WR8. They're listed in the WR8 3.0's manual. The first three parts are listed on HPI Europe's site (different part #'s), with no option parts on the USA site (other than a lipo battery). HPI Europe also has some woven graphite parts listed.
