My bad, I missed that one.
It's ok, everyone slows down in their older age.
Since those sales require no paperwork whatsoever, you're 99% guesstimate is completely unfounded. If I were to say it was 1%, it would be equally correct.
My point of contention with what you said earlier was that the Gun Show Loophole is a myth. Since the GHL is buying firearms at a gun show without a background check, it's not a myth.
Except, my "guesstimate" is based on actual experience.
How many gun shows have you attended since Bathouse Barry has occupied the White House?
As a regular gun show attendee, I see the sales that take place, as they happen frequently and right in front of you. For the dozens upon dozens of (100s at the larger shows) dealers you'll see 1-2 dozen (several dozen at the larger shows)individuals trying to sell individual firearms..
From my experience much of those are usually overpriced or lesser quality, less desirable firearms and are insignificant compared to the sales totals of the dealers.
The Gun Show Loophole is a myth!
All dealer sales require a 4473 background check.
C&R sales require a C&R license.
Private sales are just that, private. They do not require a gun show to take place. The fact that they may take place there is meaningless.
I don't sell many of my firearms, but every one I've sold has been on the local gun trader FB page.
A gun show sale is IMO a last ditch, go for broke, Hail Mary.
Anti's try to make this out to be some kind of magic evil exemption that we gun owners are using to sell bazookas to 10 year old kids.
