Think about the way that the current switches as it hits the different poles of the motor. "thumbsup" Normally, stand up brushes would be better (torque) because it drops the field quicker. Laydown brushes hold the field longer (RPM). If you used standup brushes on that motor, it would produce too much torque (maybe not even run :ror
