This will be my first MOA rig. Also this will be my first build thread. My XR will start out relatively stock. The main reason I started this Thread was to make sure I wasn't screwing anything up. :lmao:

My Specs as of now...
Xr-10 Kit
Sidewinder ESC from Castle Creations
BEC from Castle Creations
Integy 35t V11 motors (For now)
Sedona tires from HPI
Losi Gold shocks
SR300 receiver (DX3.0)
Punk Dig

Future Upgrades...
VP Knuckles and Hubs
VP Tranny Covers
Team Br00d 45t
Futaba 4PL
UGC Viper
Crawler Innovation's High Clearance Rears

As of now, my order is on the way. I'm still waiting for FEDEX to deliver my goodies. The kit and electronics SHOULD be here friday. If you guys have any tips/suggestions on my build, I would greatly appreciate it!

Awesome man congrats, I almost hugged the delivery guy when he came with my xr lol, as far as tips, pay CLOSE CLOSE attention to step 23 in build, very important you get the right screws into the right holes. Check out the XR10 tips thread for bunches of good stuff!"thumbsup"

x1000000000000...BE PATIENT and build it correctly...otherwise you'll be forced to wait for new parts again!

Make sure EVERY nut and bolt is CORRECT! in the axles atleast... If you put too long of a bolt in the wrong place you will split into a bearing, gear, or something stupid and gears will strip. Also, tighten the SHIAT out of them axles until the plastic starts bulging. Do all that, atleast until you get VP parts and you will be fine for the first run. Cant wait to see what direction you go "thumbsup"

Looks like we are both waitin for deliverys:x:x. They need to figure out a way to get it the same day you order it:mrgreen:.

You gonna get a moonbuggy chassis right off go or are you gonna wait awhile? I cant decide myself I want the moonbuggy but i think i need to run it stock some to get better at driving it.8)

Not to worry...it'll just give you time to get use to it in stock form...it just makes the upgrades that much better when you do get them!

I'm probably going to get the viper after the first comp. I want to see if my stock XR can compete. Also, will have to work the low points up. So minor upgrades will be made as I go along. Then, I'll purchase my VP stuff, Br00ds, and UGC Viper.

Is stock form able to compete?

On a side note, is their going to be a practice on March 19-20? Thats when i'd like to come and practice.

Another sidenote, is their an alternative to punk dig? Its not instock..

I've seen alot of bad things about the Punk Rc service. Is their any other way to get a punk dig? If not, does anyone have one used i could buy?

There are plenty of threads about this...and the classifieds are the perfect place to see if anyone has one...

There are also a lot of threads about how good his service though.

If CKRC has them in stock they were the quickest one to get them from anyway. Just give them a call and ask. They're still open right now! You can pay with a credit card over the phone or using paypal...you don't necessarily have to have a paypal account...you can usually pay with a credit card using paypal, but without logging in.
