How hot does it run, and are you still running a 2 cell lipo?
I figured it would run on the warmer side(per JRH's notes), but for a strictly comp motor, that shouldn't be an issue. For a practice car, where you may run it for 4-6 or more hours straight, then it may require cooldown periods throughout the day. And with a 3cell, it would just make it warmer.Missed ya there buddy! Sorry. 8)
Warm for sure, maybe even kind of hot. And yep still with a 2S lipo.
JRH's description on his page for the 454 says it'll run hot like/in the Cliff Climbers, so I figure it's normal.
At this point it's pretty much blended in with the truck like a good motor should. Good package.
I got a 500 coming now too, so I can compare em all.
Alright! Finally. I have not stopped driving this thing since I built it up. We just had a central Ohio comp and I freaking won. 8)
I love it when a no dig shafty shows them MOA girls what's up. "thumbsup"
The only change I made over the last few weeks was taking the stock Panther grey foams out of the front and going to the Panther memory foam. The fronts were looking way worn out and I was having good luck with the Panther memory foams in the back, so I tried em up front. They were actually a little bit too soft and collapsed on me twice, but everywhere else they worked great.
I believe I will be adding a couple of ounces to the front wheels finally for a more sure footed climber. Right now the front to rear wheel weight difference is only 2 ounces. Not very much at all.
Couple pics one of our guys got.

Holy crap!! You have laces in your shoes!! When did that start???? :ror:
WOW, I got alot to do then lol. Thanks
They look very interesting. Still trying to figure out how a digless rig would be able to compete locally. I want to try in the fall season, but not now.
We have some very capable drivers with very capable trucks in my area, so it's not easy, but I'm back to having fun, maybe even more than before because the truck is TOTALLY different in every way, shape, and form than anything I've ever ran before.
