If someone sells crap they deserve to get a bunch of grief.
Now I am a total dick to the RTR guys...... I remember I was at a comp, and a guy who was a frequent spectator came up to me and asked what the gate sizes were for the super class. Now I remember he had just bought a summit. So I saw where this was going and before I even answered his question, I asked if he was thinking on compin' his summit. He said yeah. I told him that he would be wasting his time and that it would fail horribly. He replies with "Why? I can climb over 3 sets of rail road tracks in a row no problem. Like they're not even there" Then I proceeded to explain why in my(for you that know me personally) normal asshole way of explaining things. This is the best example I personally have had of someone that irritated me in this hobby.......Mechanically retarded people bother me because from personal experience, the generally tend to be complete morons in the first place...
looks like i read it just fine.
maybe you had a problem and it didnt last 1 pack but most rigs can handle more than that thats for sure.
This post should win an award for Douche of the Year. I hope that everyone who reads this understands this is the kind of customer service they can expect from cheapbatterypacks.com. If they are new to the hobby they should avoid your company. I think your the best thing to happen to Maxamps ever.

Finally someone that makes sense.
Finally someone that makes sense.
It seems the new Losi Comp Crawler has really stirred up some emotion. The oldies think that there is nothing wrong with it just because it broke within 5 minutes. The newbies think they should be able to drive it off a cliff and not even bend a stub. The reality lays somewhere in the middle.
I don't feel that complaining is what will get us better trucks, if the design isn't good and the parts aren't weak then people will buy something else, then the next company will make a better one, and so on. That's what will keep the companies in check. No one will be force fed a pos truck, good old capitalism will weed out the turds will a lot less drama.

There is a difference in constructive critasizm and bitching. If there is a faulty part, people should know about it. The bitching comes in when people know there is a faulty part, and everyone that breaks one feels the need to write a 2 paragraph rant about it. This isn't about the losi, its about everything. The losi for example, who doesn't know that the cvd's where breaking? Go look in the forum for yourself, every third post is about someone breaking a cvd. What does that accomplish?
So you're saying that you would advise someone to try to comp a rig that you knew full well had no business anywhere near a crawling competition?
Who's the one really hurting the hobby at that point, Chris, who would give an honest and accurate opinion, which could lead him to buying or building an actual crawler or you who would tell the guy to proceed, and run a truck that couldnt cut it thereby frustrating him possibly to the point that he never looked at crawling or crawlers again?
I've dealt with Chris, and Cheap Battery packs a few times over the years and have never gotten anything but good honest advice. The advice may not have been sugar coated, but I can handle that. Personally I'd rather be told flat out that an idea won't work than waste my time and anyone who tried to help me's time by heading in a bad direction.
So if you have an issue with my post, then confront the dick(That being me)
