Szczerba's 2012.2 Secret Agent'd 3.5 Bodiless Berg

Great Driving Shane! You definitely didn't miss that last bonus. I took too much time screwing around and didn't get through 7 or 8. I was trying to hurry through the side hill and didn't make it. Driving light=driving slow.

szczerba's videos will be up tonite...

!!! SZCZERBA'S #1..SZCZERBA'S #1 !!!

i thought of the supertroopers scene where farva is
screaming farva's#1 farva's#1..lol

yeah boy!

3:01 on #3 and a few other parts on that course are like whoa.

I'm pretty sure that you started that course without a spotter, and then one (me) magically showed up when you need it the most at the last gate.

I fully retract this statement :ror:

Cool spot. It does look a bit slick. The last climb looked rough. And nice vid work as usual.

Are you guys doing the 20 point bypass thing? I saw Mr. Szczerba pick his rig up and carry it over that little tiny brook. :flipoff:

Rootar setup course 3. It was pretty crazy.
The rock is pretty slick if you can't tell. No one thought we would get past gate 3 on that downhill log sidehill crack of death gate just to get to the repo box.

I drive like a grandpa but the slick rock made me slow down. The videos dont do these courses justice. They were tough.

Don't you guys know that water and electronics don't mix!!!! Great driving by the way, Shane!

Yep, that area is known for water hazards.
You have to watch every step when you are walking and watch where you are driving as well. Slick moss covered rocks lurk just under the waters surface.
The bonus gate on course 2 was ultra scary sidehilling down into the gate. Heck there were a couple gates like that.

shane, i was impressed with your setup. it was good with the body, but the current setup is really nice. if i were you i would not change anything big. it is working. i know your tires are half way bald, but they are still working very well

i have to say that next to last gate on course 3 was pretty impressive.

you drove really well, don't get me wrong.. but that setup is very nice looking and veryyyyyy nice performing.

Yea. Looking forward to see the other runs and how guys crawled that course. I had to bail out early that day.
Yea, I am used to driving like a grandpa. I have been practicing on having a heavy throttle finger as well. Gotta be able to adapt to it all.

Way to be patient on that last course 3 gate.

nice driving, that rock does look abit slick:shock:

It took a while. I didn't know if the truck would make it or not when I first put the front wheels up. But with the light setup, I could see it was going to grab with some work. You can see in the video when I squatted down and chilled out. I knew I was going to be there for a while and was going to bail out with 15 seconds left to go to take the gate.
The 3rd gate was way more nerve racking than that last gate!

Nice course! Nice driving!

Thanks. It had a good mix of everything on it.

Thanks. It's a great setup out of the package. Like any other custom chassis setup just keep slowly changing the setup to suit the chassis and total rig weight. I was skeptical about removing the 1.4oz total from the front in knuckle weight but I lost no vertical climbing ability at all.

That is some nice drivin there. Good work"thumbsup"

Thank you sir. It's fun truck to drive. My weak point used to be sidehilling with other berg chassis setups. With the 3.5 bodiless I think I can side hill anything

Well you definitely sidehilled like a mo fo now:mrgreen: No weak points now!"thumbsup"

So what was your rigs comp weight that day?

I hate to feed your ego any more, but the Agent did make the gates look easy...

You know I'm kidding. (about the ego part) Great driving "thumbsup"

Just potential driving error.

The Secret Agent 3.5 is a great rig and makes me look like a great driver. All the credit to Y-Town Crawlers for the design. I knew it would work great with berg axles, I just had to find the right setup for me. Hope it helps some guys/gals that wanna put some berg axles under it as well. "thumbsup"

Back on post #60, Tested a couple days before the comp and stayed with it.
4lbs 14.8oz
~3.3 oz of knuckle weight each side.

10.5" wide front and back.
