these have been out of stock for as long as I can remember I was on the waiting list and got the email and immediately jumped on a set

I went back a hour later and they were sold out again what's up are they really that popular

What size are you interested in? 1", 1.9", 2.2" bead?
I got my order in but went back to look at something a few hours later and they were sold out again

I've been on the waiting list for months I just figured they would be available for a while

I'm just curious as to why these are selling out so fast

are they just making limited runs or are they so popular they can't keep them in stock or are they just limiting there production run so that everyone isn't running the same tire

I wonder the same thing about their tucked k10 body. Trying to get one recently but sold out again. I've probably seen pictures of cars running that body less often than I've seen them in stock so I'm not sure if they just make a handful at a time or people that buy them don't own a camera. Lol

I've had the same problem trying to find the JConcepts Tusk's 1.9 tires. I gave up looking awhile ago!

They will limit inventory some times to prevent selling out an entire production run. I would keep an eye on their website because they might pop back up in a few days. Often times an email to them might get them to release another batch if they still have some.

The Ruptures seemed to really take off a year or so ago, and it can be hard to get them. Just be careful not to buy a knock-off version from Ebay. They are absolutely clones but the rubber quality seems to be of recycled rubber bands and zip-lock sandwich bags. Absolutely terrible performance on the trail.

I also would keep an eye on RPP Hobbies.

Ruptures with CI two-stage foams is my go-to for top crawling performance.

I find the recent popularity of these tires to be amusing. These tires have been out for a really long time. I remember WHITE-TRASH advocating these tires several years ago for their ability. The only knock on these tires back then were the fact that they weren't scale, and I think they were banned from comps.

I think I bought a set back in 2017-18? I still have them, and I've never even used them LOL (I swear I will eventually!)! I think with the explosion in flat rails, there have been a lot of people just looking to slay hard lines, and not necessarily comp. I'm thinking that a lot of the non-comp hard line crawlers are the ones that keep snatching these tires up.

I'm guessing that they just dont have the production capability to keep up with the demand? Same for that tucked K10 body and the Tusks. I bought an extra set of Tusks last time they were in stock just for that reason.

There are a lot of folks out there now just trying to get maximum performance and not bothering with comps. Some of the new chassis designs are pretty crazy and capable.

Didn't know where to post but here seems okay.

@ferp420 posted that Ruptures were at a-main a while back so I grabbed some.

Love these tires. Seriously sticky... like 'stuck to the inside of the bag' sticky. Mounted easily. I put these tires/ foams on my Capra to replace the Flat Irons and 2-stage Proline foams. I like the Ruptures foams too... much more supple than the Prolines. FWIW I also threw on some painted cap heads for more orange accent. Anxious to get these tires on some rocks. Thanks, ferp!

I tried Ruptures a long, long time ago. I forget which rig I even put them on. I think mine are so old and sat in a hot garage for so long that they are now dry rotted. I'd have to buy another pair if I wanted to give them another shot.

How do the Ruptures compare to the Megalithic? I have not tried Megalithics.

Sweet Capra! Which trailer is that?

Sweet Capra! Which trailer is that?
Thanks, Jato. I ordered this thing off of Amazon, listed as "RC Trailer, 1:10 scale Dual Axle Flatbed Trailer Kit RC Trailer Accessory with Four Tires" lol ( Seller - Tbest) for $130. Made a thread about the trailer and TRX4 tow-rig conversion. Had to do a lot of work to it to get it where I wanted. Probably better trailers out there but it was a decent price and one of the only ones that would fit my Capra.

Thread link below. Gotta scroll down a ways to get to the trailer but it shows a lot of what I had to do to get it where it needed to be...
