I can not even imagine how much work went into that truck! You have done an amazing job. Just personal taste, but in my opinion the blacked out windows detract from the overall result. I know you're hiding the tranny in there, but still...Maybe window tint would have been more subtle. I really enjoyed your build, thanks for sharing. |

Hey, great looking truck! Looks like my 1:1....... Sorta. But I see a couple spots where you messed up.... Shoulda been a Reg. Cab, Stepside, Like mine! Sorry to dig this thread up, but I thought it was cool seeing a truck like mine. Great work, I saw your farm truck Chevy, your Dodge, and Im not sure if its you making the one that I am thinking of, but the Dualie 07 GMC? I think its you. Anyways, awesome creativity, you should be making money off of this stuff |

| Rebuilding the 1964 Chevrolet CC
A couple of weeks ago, I started a rebuild of this truck, it looked like shisk when I stopped the 1st time, but I was sick of sanding and shaping, but its time to try and fix it a little, besides I robbed the transmission out of it months back. I cut the roof off One of the original problems I had with this build was the width of the Diaz chassis compared to the MRC Losi axles, The frame or the shock or leaf spring was almost in the way, but now that I lowered the suspension a little bit, it hits all the time. So, I think the chassis would have snapped trying to bend a sharp angle, the next best thing, a hacksaw and some aluminum braces And now its much better, the tires hit nothing As for the body, I have more pics, but out of time at the moment.. I'll put them up soon. . Last edited by bodean; 08-13-2012 at 09:19 AM. |

I love this build. I owned a 64 GMC Suburban for a while, it had the same body lines. Keep up the good work.

I love this body style. I would love to get a body like that. Wish I had some skills to make a great looking body like that one.
