Thanks! That spot is better for go fast dirt stuff but I spotted another place just a few blocks from me that looks pretty good. It's a run off ditch in Rocksbury Ridge.

Thanks Sean! This is one of those trucks you just keep forever, so simple and fun to drive.

Steering stabilizer is a turned down TLT shock with a piece of 1/4" Delrin inside to hold the shaft out.

Small update. Finally got the servo winch installed and built a new bumper to fit Class2 rules. Also picked up a new stainless winch hook from MadDogRC, very cool!

Lookin good as usual, bein that I love modded tires I look forward to seein the 1.55 sidewall splice pitbulls! Ide love to reduce a set for the 3.8" tire Bronco but they are so danged wide it would look silly.

I'm glad you chimed in Matt, knowing your love for modded tires. What I basically did was cut just the bead from a set of RC4WD Desert King tires, leaving enough material to simply glue them into the PB bead. I'll get some pics up tonight. I just really like the 1.55 look on this truck. I wish I had my new wheel though, ordered some Steelies yesterday. I can see what your saying about being wide when cut-n-shut, but really, that's the way the PB's are in a 1:1 version. Or at least most of the ones I've seen.

Thats the way I do it when I can get away with it. Often cant even tell you did it!!! Just cut the bead out of the PitBulls and glue enough of the 1.55 sidewall/bead. 1:1s are super wide for sure, but when you reduce the 1.9s to 1.55s they are REDICULOUSly wide . TSLs recuce nicely tho and Im workin on a 3.5" set as we speak (reduced and pinched). I look forward to gettin my hands on a set of Pitbulls to mess with in the future thats for sure. Post up when you get yours done, would love to see em!

Ended up not cutting the bead out of the PB's, I just made the 1.55 bead fit in there and glued it in. Still wondering what it will look like when I get the wheels installed. Guess will see when They get here. Here's a few pics.

It should still work, it looks wierd now, with the different compounds and color, but once you mount them up and rough em up on the rocks and mud, they will look like they came that way!

Yea, once I get them on wheels and run them a bit, you won't be able to tell much.

Got a chance to mount up a couple of wheel this weekend and all I can say is......much better! I guess I need to have a mod move this to the 1.55 section. Anywho, here some pics of my now 1.55 Pit Bulls!
