Simply Awesome... My 1:1 transportation is a Tacoma so I am really loving this build.. Great looking truck man and the craftsmanship of that trailer is just incredible.

Yearly update!!! I picked up a Dinky R/C tow hitch a couple weeks ago and decided now was a good a time as any to install it. I also got some black 80 and 90mm scale shocks and fab'd some brackets from Delrin to raise the trans 10mm. In order to make the trans lift work I had to hack up the sub frame into three sections. Also cut a square piece of Delrin as a battery mount. Overall the trans lift was minor but the results go along way for this mall crawler! The new black drive shafts are from a SCX10. The battery mount will work well for a little 2-celll lipo and is tucked up under the cab so that I have room for a drop bed. Had to manipulate the tow hitch to fit in between the frame rails but all is well, this thing is so stout it should be able to tow my full sized 4runner on flat ground... |
