Looking good man

What's up with you and brass lately? I'm tempted to try it but I just not sure if it will hold up to my abuse.

I love this build and am totally going to steal it. Very very cool.

Anyone have a link to that static model? I didn't see the mfg's name or the model name mentioned, but I may have missed it. Is it currently still in production?

I'm going to do some searching, hopefully I can find something, I've really got my heart set on this!

Edit: Think I've found it. Seems to be a "Revell 1/8 1932 Ford HighBoy 3 N1 Kit". Found one on ebay that just went for $56, 4 days ago. My life story: 4 days late and 4 dollars short.

It wont hold up to your driving...I have seen you drive Brass is super light and really easy to work with, trying to keep the CG in check,I dont want it to tip over when it see's its own shadow

Good triangulation is the key, suprisingly strong when built right. No zombie fumes either, just using my weller soldering iron and oatley plumbers tinning flux and it is a breeze

Devlin, don't forget the antenna with a raccoon tail. I hope you're bringing this thing to Montana this year. I'd love to check it out...

Hmm, not all up on the hotrod scene.I am guessing the tail is common ? I am toying with running this in C3 but mister zombie fumes above would probally be really upset with me if I did.(think Moonrover build)

Oh, the raccoon tail wasn't all that common, but it was something seen on old hot rods back in the day.

Back on this thing finally. I thought all I needed to do was wire her up,piece O cake right... couple hours and she will be runnin... SURE
Well, 2 days later and I may be able wire it up tommorrow if I finish the other stuff first.
Made and mounted a servo winch, also a old school max driveline to get the length I needed

Made a routing tube for the winch line

Flared the ends to keep the servo line from fraying

Opened up the rear axle to put an underdrive set in and found this little gem

That prompted me to open the front end up and check it.Same deal.So I decided I better go over the entire rig and check all the nuts/bolts/screws for loctite and what not. I found a few items that needed to be addressed.
Decided it was time for the new tires to get put to use so I mounted them up on my wheels Big D made for me.

Added dice and a skull shifter for the old school theme

Front light buckets installed

Gotta have a battery

And a pho winch untill I figure out what I want to do with the rear of th rig for asthetics
