That's a possibility too. Maybe I just need to finish up the body first and see how they look before I think about it too much.

Fixture up an old broken axle shaft at a medium rpm in a drill and make it steady, then just quickly "blip" your brush into the wheel and a ring will appear instantly. I think thats easily doable if you have a steady hand.

That's a hell of an idea! I could put in in my drill press. I might have to try that.

This was a standard trx 2wd axle. Torched off the plastic and ground down the pin. Great in the drill press when I was cutting wheels Trey.

Lovin this rig. I thought the primer grey looked killer. The stance is perfect and that rear bumper is dreamy.

Oh man, just saw this on facebook! GCM steps up with another badass product!! These are just the wheels I've been waiting for AND they'll help draw my tires up under the fenders a little more!! Not going to lie, the 1/2 tire coverage requirement for a C1 rig was dang close to questionable with the current wheels. Pre-order placed!!

Well, making a bit of progress. Got the body done. I think this is all the weathering I'm going to do this time. I think it looks a lot better than it used to.

Finally going to put working tail lights in this rig...about time I'd say.

Also got the correct dash. This will be better than the toyota dash I was using. Still need to fit it and then try to paint it without screwing it up, LOL.

Got the dash painted up today, I suck at painting things this small. My hands just shake too much. I think it turned out pretty good though! Used some gauge decals I had laying around. You don't see light blue interiors much these days but it's correct LOL.

one of the best builds ever. I had a '75 GMC as my first vehicle ever. Painted it starlight blue metallic 4" rancho lift 33" cooper canyon climbers on keystone chrome cutters. wish i could get that truck back. I plan to follow some of your build to make my scaler soon. total inspiration piece. My wife has no idea how much this will cost me to do!

Hot dang Trey Trey! That looks awesome.

That dash looks identical to the factory one that was in my old '78. Good job!

One bad ass Chevy man! I love how you pulled it all together and made it look like it is right out of the early 90s. Great work

LOL, thanks guys. The poor rig has just been sitting for a while now. I need to finish it up. I mounted the dash, still need to reinstall the seat and trim for motor clearance. I need to get my act together and finish this thing. It's been unfinished for a couple years now.
