Default Update: Poison Spyder Wreckluse Build

Duke and John were getting frustrated with the slow build, so I thought I'd try and do a little update to this.

I was able to get a hold of the Robinson Racing Solid Output and Idler Gear:

Old Stocks:

New Upgraded Gears:

Marine Grease Time!

Still waiting on my Rims and Tires...

Ah, Duke and John can be patient...just like the rest of us. So you did a manual photoshop...still looked pretty good.

You can sleep at night now that you have beefed up gears in your tranny ....looks real good.

Thanks! These were my plan B rims. Vanquish's OMF's were a little out of reach for the time being

Tires were a good choice , looking good , if you have one tap the rod ends before you thread them on the all thread ,worked really well for me .

Hey Guam....

How is your progress coming along with the Wreckluse?

I have a set of claws (4.75) and tried them on the wreckluse. They were a bitt too tall for me. The fronts kept rubbing on the chassis. I swapped them for a set of Iroks (4.65). That little bit helped me a lot. Then again im running ax10 axles which are narrower than wraith axles.

By the way, i love the little miniature crawler kit boxes.

Build has been issued a stop build notice :( With lack of funding for the project and busy time schedules with work and family, I have been forced to put this on hold. Hopefully, I can get the build up and going again by February...

We all go through our pause moments due to lack of funding, family, work or other issues...its the nature of the hobby.

Sometimes its good as your mind is still working on the build. when you get back to it you might start it with a bunch of fresh new ideas.

Haven't had any funding to complete this build yet. I still need electronics, drive shafts and shocks. I decided I wanted to stick to scale and sacrifice performance so I switched the wraith axles for SCX10 Axles for now. I also changed the tires to TSL Super Swampers. I will be using the Baja Claws and CAC's on my Honcho Build with Currie Rickjonck Axles

Comparison next to my Wraith:

More Shots:

Flex:

That's all for now... Hopefully I can get some electronics in this as soon as possible!

Anyone have jpeg or pdf templates for the fender wells and interior?
