Ok I have the body almost done on lemon lime. It's assembled and running. I need to finish up a few details like tail lights and lenses, securing the bed a little better and rearranging my esc again.

I am pleased with it. It's not perfect but I wasn't expecting it to be. It's the first hard body I've painted since I was a kid making models. Plus it's going to be the truck I drive the most and it's going to get scratched and maybe broken, so I'm not emotionally attached to the best paint job I've ever done. Mostly because its not the best I've ever done lol. It was partially a practice body and mostly my main truck.

Now some pics.

One more pic.
It's plastydip on the bed to look like rhino liner. I think I got it pretty good. I painted it on then textured it

The bed? I got the cab section from someone on here used and the mounting tabs were cut off so I put two small bolts and nuts through the back of the bed to the cab. Its almost as sturdy but I would like it to be solid to the frame. I'm thinking about bolting the bed to the sliders and rear bumper I plan on making then it will just be a separate piece and can stay mounted to the truck.

Thanks. I'm really loving the new boss Stang and that gave me the inspiration.

ok i got a few updates.
i made a set of snow chains, they work pretty good. i also painted the head and tail light lens but havent installed them yet pics of that as soon as i install them.
now for some pics.

i also saw this the other day and was thinking he was biting my style, but his was most likely done before mine lol. i actually was looking for a pic of a truck that had this style of boss stripe before painting mine. i couldnt find one so i ended up adapting the mustang style i like the most.

I decided i'm going to make a new thread for my second f350 as plans for it have changed. its going to be my daughters rig so the design plans have changed its not going to have the baja flares as of now and its going to have a more girly look to it. i'm going to let her have allot of design decisions, she already picked out paint. keep a look out for that thread coming soon.

Yes there is. One of my trucks has the tamiya one the other has a home made one. It's an L shaped bracket about 8cm long 1cm 1cm high. I'll get a few pics of it a little later and more precise measurements.

The same bracket is also used in the rear to hold the gate on
