The terrain in UTAH is one of the best to crawler on.You can take the worst tire and it would work good there....

I'm gonna strip down and redo a few things on Fred. First up with the low skid clearance, I get hung up on break overs so I'm gonna replace the stock skid with a TSS smooth skid, Make a place to mount all the electronics on the sliders. Then I wanna remove the carbon plate and design a new winch mount. . And get some lighter seats. New body would be nice also... if only I could stop ordering parts for my Gelande 2 D90... |

Look into the DSPRO seats from Ryan Gerrish. I bought 3 sets so far. They are perfect size, look amazing. and are feather light |

Ha I missed this JT ....Fred stays with me Glad you picked up some cool whips.. hope to catch you on the rocks soon... My front axle was driving me nuts I could literally move the front wheels 2 inches before the locker would engage. So I took the axle apart and inspected the Universals and I could see there was a significant sign of wear.. if you look at the lower tang you can see a little peak on the middle a sure sign it was twisting in the locker. The top one had the same ridge it just didn't show in the picture. So field trip time to the Killer Kustomz Shop   After inspecting the HR locker and Universals it was decided the Locker was ok and to mod a new set of AR60 universals. Klay has modified over 30 some axles with no failures so here's how it's done at Killer Kustomz First he cuts down the axles and then fits them to the locker and Chubs After the fit is Just right the parts are moved over to the lathe to act as a jig to hold both ends straight while he Tig welds them together and then lets them cool back down. Then the newly welded axle is chucked up so he can turn down the built up welds. Some Rock Lube and they are ready !! and they only move about and 1/8 inch now Tomorrow I'm going to install a TSS smooth skid. | |

It seems my Holmes Hobbies 20t CrawlMaster has dead spot I've cleaned and rebuilt it twice with a set of new brushes and it will not start up without a bump... So I'm thinking I'll just replace the armature but can't decide on the 11t or the 13t any suggestions ?
