Grill is done. Used metal mesh and painfully cut out the little letters!

Wipers are also off the to do list as well.

Comments on the lights noted and i'm going for rectangular units Mounted on the Bumper

So Chassis.

This has been built for a while now and if i'm honest doesn't really fit in with the Nature of the Paintjob on the FJ. if you remember it was going to be lifted battered and bruised affair so this was built to suit the look.

So SCX 10 Chassis Running Droop on Limited Losi Crawler Shocks.
Steel Fabricated Shock Hoops Front and Rear.
The Back ones have been moved forward slightly so the bed has no holes in it.

3 Link Front with Stainless Axle Mount

Losi Crawler Battery Tray to Mount Battery on the top near the front.
(Pinion doesn't actually go there but I didn't want to lose it!)

Standard Axial Transmission with Slipper I cut the Cover down to give me a little more room inside.

Stainless Steel 4 link Axle Mount.
Junfac Props the rear has been lengthened as it was a litttle short

The Sliders have been mounted low for one reason only, to give better protection to the Edges of the Bodywork.
I personally wouldn't run them but that's not my choice so they can be taken off if necessary.
Little Mount on the Side for an ESC or Receiver, there is also room under the battery tray for electronics placement.

Looking great - I still want to know how many FJs you've built over the years. Best looking bodies I've ever seen that's for sure.

This is amazing. I love the body but the way you did the rear end. Amazing roll and lines in the back. Great work Dready!!!!!! I would be proud of this one.

So we have decided to ditch the Driver.

Its nearly finished just a bit of final tinkering and its done.
New wheels arrived today and they really make a difference.
1.9 Rc4wd Wagon Wheels with the Trepadors.

Rectangular Bumper mounted rear lights

Dashboard is in

Seats are done just waiting for them to dry.

The new owner will have to get you the running shots
I'll do some static ones before I ship it off to the USA
