Can't wait to see what Shon whips up for the side pipes.
Led's will go in this weekend. I have an idea for the tail lights that should look pretty cool.

Frenched in tail lights are installed.
I used Axial lights and mounted them on the back side of the body to give the appearance of frenched in lights. They are held in place using E6000.

Those look really good. Hit the "frenched" look dead on.

Alright I need some opinions here. I bought a set of wheels for my up and coming C1 build but now I'm wondering if they would be a better fit on here.

Let me know what you all think, keep the current wheels or go with these

x3 on the new ones for the merc. Chrome/paint... choices are endless I say Murdered with a red pin stripe would look good.

Do you like the alum disc look that was popular in that era ? If so , I have some discs from my hotrod build that you can have. They are from a 1/8th revel kit. LMK your dims on the outside of the wheel if interested and I will check to see if they are a fit.

The VR-01 wheels I have don't hold the treps very well. My spare losses it's bead alot when it gets caught on rocks.

Have you tried them with Pit Bulls Dean, that's what I'm running? Also you know if SLW's work with them since mine aren't here yet?

That would be cool to but I think I'm liking the red idea at this point. I'll let you know if I change my mind Devlin, thanks.

I like your tail lights. As far as the wheels, the VR-01 with a Baby Moon hub cap. Don't know where you would find them however.

Thanks, that's what I was going for.

Rouge Element Components, it was a limited run item a while back.

Thanks Cory!

I think I'm going to try my hand at some red pin stripes on the body. I'll have to practice on some styrene first but I think I can do it.

Maybe pinstripe on the car. Turn the trim up so you have the wheels rotating smoothly then you wouldn't have to be real steady to make a nice stripe.

I guess I should have been more specific about the pin stripes, I meant on the body. Fixed it.

Doubt they will hold the PB's either. Make some wider ring, that should work on either tire.
