Default sgtsteve's Gelande II

First off, a huge Thank You to RC4WD for giving me the opportunity to win this beauty

RC4WD Gelande II

Got my tools all ready to go. Decided that such a beautiful rig would need some great hardware. Every screw that can be replaced, will be replaced with Locked Up RC's M3 and M2 Scale Hex Bolts I will also finally be mounting up that sweet Metal Hi-Lift jack from The Scale Shop (thank you Cory)!

Im not planning on a full build thread, but will post milestones of the progress. I have a few upgrade/hop-ups on their way now and should have them by this weekend.

XVD For Yota II Front Axle (Z-S0823)
Gelande II Steering Guard (Z-S0824)
Spare 5 Lug Wagon Wheel (Z-Q0023)
Mud Flap For Gelande II (Z-S0890)

Once in stock, these will be ordered:
Land Rover Defender D90 Emblem Set (VVV-C0004)
ARB Land Rover Defender 90 Winch Bar Front Bumper for Gelande 2
Part Number Z-S0853

For paint, Im planning on a light blue, weathered look. Time to build

So I wasn't expecting to pull an all nighter but everything went together so well that I decided to keep going. I finished up at around 2am and although I still have a few scale bolts to cut down and swap out, here it is.

Today I will work on getting the electronics in

Great look. I'm just lucky to get them together, let alone change the screws.
