Hmm. That is possible. The same guy that owns the FJ40 is the same one that owns the Beast and he was the one that told me about the body having lots of pieces.

To be fair, the body/interior is a big project if you want to paint and detail all the pieces. I get how it could be a deterrent to someone who doesn't enjoy that type of thing.

I think it's important to weather this kit (yours looks great btw). I built one that I didn't weather and now I don't drive it for fear of marring something. It seems like a bad combination of heavy and fragile to be sold and shipped somewhere, so its stuck in a kind of weird shelf-queen purgatory at my house. Its nice to look at but I'm not sure what to do with it now.

The 1:1 equivalents are STA (Specialty Tires of America) 'Super Traxion' tires and the 'Deestone D503' and probably countless others that are long out of production.
