I meant whatever colour isn't your favourite.

There's a lot of junk going on all at once to make this a nice truck, and since my camera is missing, all you get to see is this adjustment I made to the steering wheel.

I spent the day detailing the interior to my liking. Many thing were painted, and weathered and modified to meet my expectations.

I started by making sure the smaller rear lights had a reflective background inside them, so they look a bit more like... reflectors.

Then I focused a lot of attention on some cool details.

Rather than just use the stickers included in the kit, I thought I would do a combination of some elements from the decals, along with paint and weathering. I'm very happy with the results.

Pads for the rollbar seemed a bit too, new. I opted for rope. Much safer.

Next step, floor mats.

I'm trying. It's hard to mess this one up, already comes with a lot of excellent details.

He already doesn't.

Wait, we were friends???

So, my experiment in having the rust come through the paint is working. Brilliantly. I left a bunch of wadded up paper towels soaked in vinegar all over the truck overnight.

Success!

The pattern from the towels is a little too uniform, but I'll probably give it another soaking tonight with tissue paper instead.

Ah yes, tissue paper! Brilliant. I'm having a lot of fun with our weathering experiments. This body really got me amped for tiny trucks again.

Here comes more!

I did some things. Firstly, threw a coat of white over the green, just for kicks. I then performed a shock shortening trick where flexible tubing is inserted into the shock to lower the whole vehicle.

Much betterer lowerer. Up here in the land of salt and construction, all 40's look like this:

Oh darn. Old Rusted Hotness.

Thanks to n00b, he pointed out that the bezel requires some narrowing along the bottom portion of lower part. Success!

I wasn't truly happy with the first go at Nebula Green, so I resprayed it with a touch of Sea Grey added to the paint. I'm much happier with it now. A few detail bits here and there, then on to the weathering (which means I put it outside for a few days).
Definitively I need some of your skill ... How can I make some rust on the chassis? Did you used tamiya powders? How can you fixed it?
Awesome details as always

I feel like you and I learned a lot this go around. I've got a couple new theories for the next go.

That's what I'm discovering, over time, those tires look more and more, right. That said, I am going for a skinnier tire very soon.

Body is like, 1/8.3th.

narrower will look better from the front.

trailbusters would look awesome. but a tad smaller. but they fit the narrow criteria. or just just put the mud slingers on there. kinda narrow. lots of lugs. you could even sand the lugs off to give it the "i've had these tires for 35 years" look.

what else is narrow?
