Default Szczerba's 1.9 Beckworks Rebuild Build

Got this Jeep as a ARTR from RolandRockShop. Was setup with wraiths and 2.2's but I wanted 1.9's and SCX axles. Also, needed to be SORCCA legal (no frame rail chassis present)

Old thread here.
Beckworks 2.2 for UTRCRC Adventure VI
As I got it, minus the tires/wheels.

Wiring could use some reworking too!

Nice restoration! The finite details are what I appreciate in your builds.

Cut up and painted a new HPI jeep body but left the doors intact and cut the rear fender mounts off chassis and off body.
Not sure of the look but I will get decals in a few days.
Sorting out wiring now.
Body will pivot back on two back door screws.

The jeep looks great and I'm loving those wheels!

I may have to try that paint baking idea on my next chassis.

I am not sure If I like the no rear fendor look. Pictures make the front end look bigger but it's not that bad in person. Decals will break up the body big look.

Wheels are super nice.

This is like my 4th chassis to use the engine enamel paint-n-bake and the results are great. Paint resists scratches awesome where normal rattle can will will chip like crazy.

Your interior detailing is superb. Where did you source the 5 point harnesses? I really like that CB radio...is that a scratch build?

Thanks, just some styrene and lots of test fitting. The 5 point harnesses were on two spare seats I had laying around. They are different from eqch other and I dont know the builders. The CB is scratch built from styrene and was on the jeep when I got it. It busted and I need to reglue it.

I got carried away with the stickers. Oh well.

Flip up body. I shortened up most of the wiring but still need to clean it up a little more. Used a HolmesHobbies servo bypass too. And I have been making spare female JST leads off the battery for 12v accessories, as well as rx spare female leads for 6v accessories

Threw a spare out back just to see the side profile. Also, I. Have a battery pack of testing on this jeep and it's a point and shoot crawler. Super amazed at what it can do! Ill weigh it next time Im in the shop.

Lookin good! The stickers look right at home on this rig and I like the spare tire location, gives it that KOH look.

I need a set of those rotors for the f100.
