Stinger done and bed all done.

Still gotta finish up the frame situation but not worried about that.

Scratch 2 being ready for this weekend.

This thing is looking badass.

Side note I found Team C has a lexan Hilux of this generation. Not good for me lol.

great stuff, really like the build. Is that roll bar braced to something solid? From the visuals I am seeing, my only real concern would be the pillars on the cab. Any plans to reinforce them?

Roll bar is 30mm down into the bed in solid plastic. Designed and printed so it's reinforced and also bed/cab rest just a hair off the sliders.

As for the pillars, no need. Filament used I could bend them in half and not break. Especially not that I know how to anneal it. Not brittle like PETG of my previous body attempt. I could probably stand on the roof of the cab and everything would mostly bend under my weight, some areas might crack in the process but doubtful. That's why I'm sticking to light colors, so they don't deform in the summer sun.

That's cool. I know little about 3d printing, arguably nothing as I have never had a printer of my own. What is the material you used?

It's called Tough PLA by Inland. It lives up to its name. Only issue I've ever had with durability is 95+ summer heat out in the sun, dark colors getting soft and deforming.

Most of my printing has been done on $100 ender 3 pros (about 250 in each of the 2 now). This body was done on new Ender 3 max neo which is $400 and much much bigger. Cab section 1 single 3 day print, bed about the same

Alright other than finishing lights which I'll do next week or after the holiday she's all buttoned up. Almost forgot to switch motor direction cause the foxbelly is in with motor on the left (yes I installed the other trans input shaft). That was fun when I hit the gas to test and slams into my foot.

Completely forgot I ordered the steering plates from artful dodgers, damn did they tighten up the turning radius when I got them installed.

OK THIS THING SHOCKS THE SHIT OUT OF ME AND OTHERS!!! Can't believe how well it did. I had trouble finding anything that this rig couldn't just walk up unless it was damn near vertical.

Side hill ability isn't amazing but it's pretty damn solid. Friends ectos could side hill a bit easier but even with the hard body she was able to stay with them leaned over, just had to pay a more attention.

Really happy with how this thing came out and how it performs, shocked myself on this build!

Nice, gotta love when you surpass your expectations. Your joy is palpable. The rig looks great, looks to have a good balance of style and a no-fux-to-give attitude.

Amazing detail. I regret selling mine similar to this years ago and yours makes me want to build another one.

Much of what I was aiming for for the style. Attitude with style.

After reading new sorrca rules, I may change the cab slightly, try to see how close I can get to the 4.5" minimum height requirement.
