Thanks for all the comments, The body will be made from thin aluminum sheet or lexan if i can get it formed the way i want it to be. I am still playing with steering setup trying to get as little bump steer as possible is a feat with such short arms and long travel. but i'll get it.

Lookin good! The only thing i would recomend doing is put fuel tubing on the inside of your shock shaft to limit the amount of droop. Other than that great work!!

First no flaming allowed the body panels are just to get an idea of what the finish product will look like. steering is getting close and i swapped out the long shocks for a set of associated t4 rears , much better.

wow, it looks amazing.... ive always wanted to make a Baja style desert truck. But i think the body should be a one piece from Pro-Line or HPI.... so it would look like this. |

I would like to build a truck next if i can find a body that will work that doesn't look too overdone. IMO the body would need to be about 8" wide , most are too narrow or too wide and look kinda screwed up for a good scale look. |

i feel an uncontrolable wheelie coming on if you keep the battery there.

We have steering. bump steer is good through its cylce as you can see from the pics . All i need to do now is clean up the front end add a couple of small braces tighten everything down. on to the motor mounts and battery location mounts.

Oh great. Now you got a 1/6th scale Ranger Pre-runner idea started up in my head. Great job on the truck. And i 2nd that individual panel idea. Let the frame show inbetween pieces.

you could set the front suspension up a little better by getting rid of the bump steer and u could set the upper links to keep the same camber thru the sweep of the suspension. oh and those tlt shocks are gonna suck as far as fronts go. otherwise nice idea

| Tig congrats on the new crawler in the family I have already swapped out the tlt fronts with another set of associateds that i had laying around they work much better and i can chage spring rates to get what i need for it . right now as far as bump steer goes its not really too bad but with a few more adj it should be very minimal. I got some ideas going on motor mounts i 'll see what i can get put together in the next couple of days. Thanks again for all comments and suggestions. |

small update got the motor in it and also finished the tube work for now. I may add some small braces here and ther but i think the big stuff is all done. The motor plate is a recycled TLT motor mount but that may change the large out runner may require a different plate but i'm not sure yet. Battery mounts and a driveshaft and its a runner. I will try and not bash on it too hard before i get a video this time. I'm not sure yet if i like the rear lockout tried to make it look like an axle brace but it looks a little bulky to me.
