| Thanx for the comments guys. The nest step is to get all the electronics in and drive it around, make panels, some primer on the frame, a complete interior, and a bunch of detail work. |

Nice! I mocked up those tires on my PSC Bruiser and they looked WAY too big. They don't look too bad on your's though. |

I'm going to put all the electrics in and run it around, and I haven't decided if I'm going to make tabs for the body panels to bolt on or use some other technique. Ideas? Quote:

ive always like a well done bolt on setup but a hidden mounting system is always cool too. |

I do like the bolt on panels, but a hidden system would look a lot cleaner imo. I just did 3mm nuts on my chassis and bolted all of the panels on with 3mm button heads. The 3mm stuff is a little big though, maybe some 2mm nuts and bolts might look better. |

That rig is looking awesome!!! I know it doesnt matter much due to it being a scale rig, but do you have any idea of the finished weight?

| I'm still undecided, but it is looking like a combination between a hidden system and some micro fasteners. Quote:
I'm still unsure of the finished weight, but the chassis itself weights a little over 3 lbs. Thanx! I think they are great for the build. | |

How did you bend the front grill tube like that?

| I bent the bigger round bends with a brakeline tubing bender, and the smaller radius bends by hand with a pair of vice grips. I also built a bending jig for different radii (sp) out of square tubing and various sizes of bolts. Pic for the newb: Still have to rework the rear section of the body panel to flow better with the curve of the tire. |
