Yes, what you see is the color of the body and tube work. The entire thing is clear coated and ready to assemble once it's cured. No window frame this time, just the tubing.

Pretty happy with it. That clear is really shiny, every time I see it I'm afraid to touch it because I think it's still wet.

Started assembly for an hour or so last night.

Here are those notches I made in the rear tube. Fits perfectly!

Nice clean belly.....

Lots of room under the hood. Pretty sure ALL the electronics will fit under there.

Default War Pig's EB Truggy

I need to spend some more time looking for an internal spring for the RC4WD King shocks. When I found some here at work to fit my HPI shocks I was really happy with how much it helps stability to control the shock extension.

So you are running it for droop and compression ?

Yeah, a 5/16" diameter short but pretty heavy spring between the piston and cap for compression and a skinny, long, light weight spring between the piston and shaft seal. The springs kinda hold the shock in the middle of its travel. I adjust shock length (ride height) with longer rod ends.

No Andrew, it's paint. I've always thought about powder coat, but I like painting it so much I'm scared to......too permanent.
