Weight= heavy as hell!

Thanks man, I always tried to keep an eye on it while it was setting around at the comp, didnt want it walking off lol. The windows on the next body will be clear for sure!!

Default hey boi

Hey boi

Looks damn good if I do say so my self, and Man! where did you get that ramp from ? that's a pretty good job of making the whole situation look scale. Now you just need a 6 pack in the back and you'll be set.

Not much for updates, I have driven it, and worked on it some. Right now its tore down to nothing, trying to find ways of shaving some weight off, and im also making the final additions to the frame. It will look very similar to before once its done plus some scratches on the body haha.

Any ideas on an alternative to the pede trans under the hood? I was going to do a gear reduction with a driveshaft coming off going to the t case, mostly to shave some weight and reposition the motor. I will also be running a custom 8 cell pack under the hood instead of the standard 6 cell in the chassis to move the weight forward.

I also have this nice little FJ body I might put on it to see how it looks with a top. I doubt I will like it more though.

Wow that body is in nice shape and is very nicely detailed BUT, I love the orange color of the other body.

I doubt the nylint parts can hold up to this trucks weight.

Your telling me, the reason im in last right now for the 2.2 class is because I decided to just take a tumble off a cliff and hope for the best with my bronco, rather than taking it slow... Needless to say it didnt hold up lol. O well it was fun to see everyones faces when I took that move! I will show ya in May, I might decide to do it again

PS: you are going to have to bring me one of those highlifts for it when you come down! Save one for me pleeeeeaaaaassseeee

If you're more of a slow crawler, dual box the Nylint planetary. Slow as hell but it's cheap and light.

I would rather stay away from nylint parts on this truck.

For another update, I really hacked a pede trans, made it fit better and now it is also lighter. I will be painting the frame this weekend. Any suggestions on color? Or stick with black?

Haha green, that would look interesting but I think I will keep it black. I was considering silver though...

I was using a 3700 sub c matched pack, now to reduce weight im going with a 8 cell 2300mah AA pack. Very small, and lightweight. Its going to get mounted under the hood to allow it to crawl slightly better than before with the heavier pack in the chassis.

Thanks! I was actually worried that painting them would make them look like **** once they got used, but they still look great.
