What happened to KC? I've seen a couple of his projects here with new owners. He was building some cool stuff.

EDIT: Found it.......
a tuber...finally...

Color is Duplicolor Nissan 350Z LeMans Sunset
Thanks for the research! I had found that once before but never found it again...
The windows are actually painted on the inside so they are a glossy black, looks cool.

Are you talking about the clearance inside the chassis? If so that was my main reason for doing it so I could get the interior peices to fit in there without having to work around a big *** standup pede tranny.

Thanks for the compliments guys

Im almost done with the rear 4 link, only had a few minutes to work on it yesterday

Thanks Mike! I will check that out.

I finished the rear 4 link, and shock mount (my springs are too stiff) Also started on the front and got to check out its stance for the first time with the tires! Took a bunch of pics too and I just now realized that I left the camera in the shop. DOH! Sorry, will have more pics up tomorow.

Got the rear 4 link done, and shocks mounted. Working on the front now. Its starting to stand under its own weight!! Everything is alittle messy right now, just getting it squared away then I will clean it all up before paint or powdercoat, not sure yet.

Let me know what ya think!

Lots o pics:

sharp truck. i have a sledge hammer, and have been considering getting a tlt, and building a crawler, but i was allways worried about having a lack of gearing options for the truck. but it does have a better crawl ratio than the pede has.

Ya Im looking foward to seeing how it works as well. Its reduction is just about 4:1, so im going to be running a smaller spur and larger pinion to compensate for such a large reduction, which also allowed me to place the pede tranny where its at due to using a smaller spur. If its too slow or too fast there are plenty of ways to adjust it

Unimoger have you used a 35t lathe yet? Thats another option I was thinking about...

Yes I have, I ran it with several gear options, it seemed to fast for me, I am sticking with 45t and 64 pitch gears.
