!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!

Got new tubes for my MetalHead Axles from GCM (Generis) to fit XR10 width shafts. For the front I have some Super300 HD shafts ordered that allow up to 70* steering And for the rear I have ordered some custom cut Titanium shafts from CREEPERBOB to match the width of the fronts. Axles hangin on by some VP Ti-links.
Oh and some new rubber from KrazyCrawler888 as an early b-day present

Some mock up pictures before strip down and powdercoat:

Off to powdercoating on thursday and I will update when I get back from Moab and p/u the goods. I am super excited for a new color scheme. Everything black except the body. Haven't decided the final body color yet. Maybe a burnt metalic orange w/ black stripes or some sort of detail trim.

That is one K-Razy, insan-o looking Tundra!!! Those axles look nuke proof... anxious to see how your steering setup works - hope you get the angle you're shooting for.

Cheers,
Doc

Thanks for the kind words guys! I had to cut out a bit on the axle truss for the steering arms to have room but I think I might just be able to push the new super300 HD shafts to their full limits. If not it will be dang close!

All parts at paint.... waiting for the phone call to pick up!

Oh and the width from the outside of the tires is 13" with a 13.5" WB. I havent looked at the rules for scale comps in a long time so I don't know if I'm in compliance, but I really dont care cause I haven't had time to ever comp with it :( But whatev's.... I'm not one of those people only into this for the competition, I'm into it cause it's purely badass!

Got the call from the powdercoater.... ready for p/u! Will have in hand again in the next day or two. Now I'm just waiting for the super300 shafts to ship. At least till then I can run standard xr shafts.

I compared next to my buddy's wraith and I am exactly 1" wider @ the outside of tires.

I will get a close up of the plates when they get put back on the truck.

Thanks for the compliments everyone!

Got the parts from paint. Texured black powdercoat was a great decision! Everything looks rhino lined... sexy sexy!
I got the rear axle assembled and mounted to the chassis. Will get the front and more tonight and get some pics up.

Well it's 3am... been working on the truck for a while now so I can drive it tomorrow for my first outing of the year. Too tired to post pics at he moment, sorry fellas :( But I will have some actions shots tomorrow and possibly some video.

Anywho... today was mostly getting the electrical lined out. Still need to find final locations for components as i build an interior plate. I'll sort it out by rx channel for those who are interested.
Ch1: CC BEC-custom spliter-Hitec 7980
Ch2: Heyok light controler (brake lights and all)- HH BRXL
Ch3: CC BEC-Heyok relay 4amp winch controler-Hitec 7950 servo winch (Front)
Ch4: Heyok High voltage winch controler- 3Racing winch (Rear)

Here is a teaser pic just cause it's already on my phone.

Stay tuned boys and girls..... that was all the easy part :/ Next phase is the interior and scale details (which I'm sure will be a process on thier own). A great part abut this rig is that I don't NEED all that to look good haha
