Nice pics...even the ones with the butter smeared on the lens! So what did you think of the axles? I'm sure they didn't exactly slide on the rocks. I would love to hear how they sounded though! I'll bet the cog was much better though.

Its different driving with the metal axles for sure! get hung up a lil bit more so ya just have to hit things harder. Dont have to worry about smackin things up a bit with these axles. I like not having to run any wheel weights but once you hit the point of rolling over there aint no saving it with the added weight it goes

Blame it on the Beam and too many killer builds across too many forums! That's my excuse! Keeping up with the wonder of this hobby is almost a second full time job!

Well Ive been distracted from the BEAST due to a new wraith and a MOA (link in my signature).

But I did some work on her today. Stripped down the axles and painted the center sections and tubes black. Should look sexy with the shiny alumn parts all around them.

Next step is to cut out a plate so I can raise the tranny enought to shift it to the side and 180* the whole assembly so I can fit a larger spur gear without grinding down my windsheild again But I figure since I have the speed in the wraith to play with that I can gear down the fat girl so its not so hard on her heart.... She'll be a creeper
