small update got the tube bed made. i used the chassis as a jig to braze it up to make sure it was perfectly true and symetrical. then i cut the chassis off around it, ill probly add more bars when i tear it down for paint. next i hacked up the bed to reinstall it. i drew up this bumper and had it machined. since i hacked the headlights off the body i put two holes for 10mm LEDs. after seeing it on the truck im not sure i really like it, but it will have to do i guess. i sent some seat ideas to Norm, he's got the best seats on the market. i had him upsize the seats a bit for the larger body, and mimic the seats allitle closer to those in my SS. got the text last night and wow. he did an amazing job! if you need seats definatly shoot Norm a PM! i love them man. as soon as i get them ill get started on the interior. |

got a few more small things done got a simple interior started. i plan on keeping the front and rear black glass so i didnt get too carried away. this morning i built this T-case. i must say im kinda proud of it getting the wheels ready, weighted and added mayhems new foam supports. tore down the chassis and painted it. also finished up the tube bed, added a couple supports and re-did the shock mounts. before i had a tube going all the way across with thread-all inside. the thread-all was too soft and bent imidiatly, so i cut the center of the tube out and just threw-bolted them. much stronger now. also cut some lugs off the claws and swaped to black rings and stainless hardware on the wheels.
