Very clean truck! I dont think the kc lights do the truck justice though. Have you thought about going with an led light bar? |

well ive been working on installing a CMS and winch on Big Bitch. Its been a nightmare because of the slamed stance. after several nights of doing, undoing, and redoing i finally had to break my cardinal rule and do angled shocks :( it was the only way. in order to angle the shock on the driverside, i just made a little hidden mount on the inside to relocate the shock mount. on the passenger side, i modified a Crawler Innovations servo gaurd to act as my winch servo mount and shock relocation point. worked really slick. servo winch installed because of the slammed stance i had to pick up this ultra low profile servo arm. Installed a set of my Versante wheels with remachined rings and spokes im right at 10" to the outide of the sidewalls. which i prefer, but im worried about stability compared to the 11.5"-12.5" wraiths ill be competeing against. so i might go back to the Mayhem Monsters for more offset/width. LOVE the build man! The width is just throw ing me off. Looks really narrow, almost too narrow. But I love the truck, and as always, LOVE the wheels! |

thanks, yeah it looks odd. its not that the truck is narrow, but the body is wide. ie its a 1/8 body on 1/10 axles/frame. for example this body is almost 9" wide. a normal hilux body is 7.5" wide, a clod body is 7.1" etc. its just a really fat body. hence the name. looks great! Is that the TopCad light bar? I seem to remember you ordering it about a year ago when the TopCad stuff was first posted. |
