thanks guys! yeah Norm its funny how this body makes those claws look SMALL! yes the larger seats are perfect. i even had to raise the interior floor 1/2" after making the first one and they still fit great!. width is perfect too. no how to on the t-case yet, but i may. parts list 5mm shaft cut to lengths RRP pinions TSS set screws Duratrax flanged bearings and i drew the side plates up in cad and had them waterjeted. to get the hole centerlines i just layed the 3 pinions next to each other meshed, and measured the centerline distances with a ruler lol. yes a ruler. ended up being dead on perfect once assembled and final mesh. smooth and slop free. now keeping debris out once lubed is another story...but some simple tape may cure that? unless someone has a better idea. well i bought this monster max and neu 40x75-2200 package for my SC8, but it got me to thinking... it would take some serious clearancing, but the power would be silly |
