I finally had a chance to work on the buggy today. I finished the fab work on the body. The dash was by far the hardest part of this build, but I'm happy with it.

IT HAS COLOR! This is just my base coat. I have alot of sanding and smoothing to do. I painted the outside cause the glue was messy:( that's ok once I'm done filling on the inside for strength, I will paint silver on the welds and on the inside so when it scratches it will look like metal.

Looks better on my computer screen than my phone. I really like it Corey! Can't wait to see it running with interior and all. Sweet!

Thanks Tim. Once it's up and
Running I can start in the details. I have alot of ideas that will make this buggy come to life.

Man just went back to the first page you are nailing it. I am thinking ax10 axles are closer to scale tho.

X2 this buggy is awesome, but have you ever considered AX10 axles and some big 1.9's instead.

Ax10 axles and 1.9 would be spot on, but I'm going for TTC and I need it to be BIG. So this is what the 1.1 would look like if Jason set it up to go to TTC.

Gotcha, 1.9's may not be the best for a TTC event. Either way this build is good stuff.

Your buddies 1:1 truck is f@#$ing sic! And your truck is 1/10 as f@#$ing sic! Seriously your rig is awesome and now I want to make bump stops for my southern buggy. Post a video as soon as you get that pro 4 in it. And what kinda driving you going to do with it primarily?

Its going to be my new class 3 scaler. Anyone at the comps can tell you, I dont go easy on my rigs. I build them to take a beating.

I have been sanding smoothing some of the messy glue lines today. Now I'm adding coat after coat. I really like the way the body is turning out. I'm doing all this while at work, in between alarm installs.

The paint is done. I know the hood isn't exact as the 1.1. I couldn't lay the nose back like Jason did on the 1.1 I used gray to paint the seams like welds. The gray against the green looks like purple, not what I wanted:( I will add some silver and black to it to make it look more realistic. The dash also isn't exact, but it's the best I could do.
