Back in the garage for some minor repairs. The knuckle weights were getting hung up so I tucked them up in farther, changed the front shock oil to 40wt and the rears all have 10wt in them with the 3 hole puck, took of the front stinger because it kept bending, painted the chassis, switched to narrowed xr10 beadlocks wich narrowed the rig about 3/8", fixed and painted sway bar, plastidiped servo, reduced the spair and lightened it and made a servo horn support out of steel. Now it's unstoppable!

Took it around my ultra 4 track last night. It needs to be faster in the straits but I think I'll just add more obstacles instead.

Time to rebuild this thing. Here's some goodies I got planned for it. DOM 3/16 tube, DOM 1/4" links, machined axle tubes. New MMP and bec.

The axles still retain the plastic center so they slide over rocks but with a aluminum truss they should be bulletproof. They are also stainless steel so no rust.

Can you say BEEF. I need a larger scale to weigh the front axle because mine tops out at 18oz.

I finally got some time to work on this. I'm going to run some trail ready beadlocks on this so I narrowed them to clear my weights and got some of the chassis done.

Thanks! It's great. I thought it would be harder to bend but I guess this size only comes in 1020 grade but that's good for my fingers. To bad we couldent heat treat these chassis after building them because that would be sick!

That would be sick! I thought about maybe cryo treating. Never looked deep enough into to see which would be best for our application.
Great wheel tech as well

Got to work on it for a few hours tonight. I ordered some dinky rc axle braces and servo mounts to.

Got most of the tube placed. I need to decide what battery to run then I'll add more support on the front end. I'm using a narrowed wraith skid to. Still have to add nuts then spend a day polishing the chassis, make links, interior.
