It did make it to that position by itself. It made It all the way to the top a few times just to the left.

I can vouch for these photos.
I was standing at my truck behind him watching him drive and take photos periodically.

The tires seem to be working well with the cuts I put in them. It really loosened them up. Just a little more drive time on them and they will be perfect. I decided to run stock foams and there's no other reason than why not. They come with foams and why spend more more money on 2 stage foams when these work just fine in my opinion. After a few laps tonight the sway bar came loose and I realized I didn't thread lock the set screws on it so I fixed that. I'm running 2250 3s batteries and they yeild about 1/2 hr race time. The modified beadlocks hold the bead very well but I might put some CA on them for security. I put 60/11 gears in and it could use a 12 tooth for the backyard but the 11 tooth is plenty for crawling. And i have to re desighn the hood scoop because it keeps falling off. I think it's ready for shamrock showdown.

EmeryworX pulled a 1st place at shamrock showdown today. I ended up replacing the esc and servo before the race because my esc just suddenly died after 5min of fun crawling and the servo felt a little loose so I switched it out with another 7950 before the race. Rig felt smoth throughout the five hundred and twenty five brutal gates and I never broke once. I did have to stop to change the battery twice but it was a quick change with how access able it is from the side. Had a great time. Such an amazing place to drive. Thanks to everyone that was there to help.

T-money and I were neck and neck the on the last lap but an unfortunate rollover near the finish cost him the win with penalties.

Well it looks like I need to set this rig up more vertical climbing instead of backyard bashing to keep up with the top rigs so I will be changing out the front foams and adding more weight and slamming the front end. Should work great on terrain going 1mph or less.

your rig works great but I think you're right it needs a little bit more up travel

Well I made a few changes to the chassis. I notched out the front frame to clear the servo mount and made new front shock mounts to drop the front end down and I also made the chassis wider for a larger battery. Before I could only fit a 2200 now it should fit some 3300s I ordered. I also made a spare tire mount that should be super strong.

New panles, moved the electronics from the front end back by the tranny, reworked the suspension and made it lower, took off the solid tube axles and added tuner tubes in stock housing, cut off some of the rear chassis for more up travel and eliminated the spare tire and put in a stiffer rear sway bar. I'm going to add a front sway bar next because I think it will really help the overall performance of this rig.

Nice work Tuner

Although I predict that the front sway bar will be removed after a few outings. IMO it makes the rig feel too tight with tension on both ends. Nice thing about R/C is it's easy to remove if you decide you wanna change.

Thanks. I noticed that just driving full speed in the yard it wants to get traction and dive forward and roll especially when slowing down. A front sway bar might not be ideal for rock crawling but for bashing it would work great. If I do it in going to put the least amount of tension I can get on both ends and see how that works.
