Good job on the cage, it looks like a Ultra 4 cage, not a out of proportion one with the smashed down roof look.

Thanks. I think it is proportional to the 1/1.

How do you like the dinky link servo mount? Were you able to use the same links as you did in stock location?
BTW sweet rig!

Thanks. I like it allot and yes it uses the same length links but I don't like that it is not tapped to 3mm on the upper link plate. It just comes with some 4mm holes.. So I tapped it to 3mm in front of the holes and I had to make those links 5mm longer.

Got my new motor today and I Figured I needed a stronger motor plate so I took another stock one and doubled them up. Tonight I'm working on the electronics box and spare tire mount.

Here's my electronics box and hod scoop. Still in the works. I'm thinking I'll seal the box and use the esc fan to pull air through the box and put some brake line exhaust going out and underneath. Just need to figure out a filter without to much restriction.

I decided to make a rear axle brace myselfe because dinky rc is out of them and I filled and tapped the holes in the dinky rc servo mount to make it easier to mount the upper links. I used fab tabs for the brace and link mounts.

I got it running today and this motor is insane. I decided to make some trailing arms to.

i love the countersink washer "gauges"
and they even are the screws with the grade numbers on them simulating the gauge numbers. too cool.
i love the ingenuity and home grown aspect to this rig.

Thanks. If I can't buy it I'll make it. The electronics box didn't work because everything was cramed in there and the esc went into thermal shutdown after five minutes of couch crawling . :-) so I tore it apart and I'm just going to make a plate and stick them on top. It's all good though because everything is waterproofed anyways.

I did a few laps in my back yard today after work and it drove great. The only issue was a front lower link fell off because I forgot to put a nut on it and the some wheel nuts came loose even double nutted which is weird. The suspension just sucks up the bumps.

Please tell me that it didn't make it into this precarious position by itself. Staged?

I also need to put some heaver weight oil in the front shocks like 40 or 50 and beef up the front bumper because it bent a little.
