If you raised the links on the chassis that would be less AS and more squat. More squat would help it not unload as easy. For instance my buddy Rob is running his droop and he has 32%AS with his links all they way up. at the last comp i burned up my mini servo due to stupidity. i was adjusting endpoints the night before and forgot to reset them lower. smoked it on the last course and couldnt get it out of 2wd. so I made a bracket and the only servo i had was a hight torque full size but it works. |

some action shots. i spent 3 hours on the rocks playing, practicing and learning NOT to oversteer my driving i LOVE the belly clearance on this thing i rebuilt my shocks since the first run ... 55drill all pistons, 90w in the front and 80w in the back. total difference between night and day now, very stable and predictable for me. |

Thanks Ced. Well I wanted to clean up my steering a bit but didnt want to dig into a BTA setup a week before a comp. Nothing major but helped move the steering up a bit. took a traxxas link measured 1'' from center to the left and to the right. used a hole cutter and my vice to bend it. to get this. en empty front end also grinded the adjuster nut off so i wouldnt hang up on the axle housing at all. all buttoned up and cleaner next will be a BTA setup but got a good start at clearing some rocks. |

my little Moped was doing its job great for me but I had to swallow the bullet and get the Mamba. Overall a bad idea because theres just entirely to much to play with in the settings and well had to go with a new hat ..... almost low enough |

| I'm thinking about trying it out. Right now I'm having some issues with my shocks not wanting to fully compress. It has to be something in my geometry, but I can seem to figure it out.

| Thanks. This rig has been great for me. right now though she's sittin on jack stands waiting for the snow to melt. :-( I got some Eritex adjustable offset wheels a few months ago and Losi's for it. I went with 1'' wide and have been very happy with the combo before the snow fell. |

got some new goodies in last week and thought id show some new pics of the rig. this truck has evolved since i first got it and just keeps getting better. Ive upgraded to HPI Rovers blue dot over my Claws. the Claws were working great for me but after seeing a pair of white dot rovers in action i was pushed to try a set. I got a set of Acer foams from Rizzo and this combo has been working very nice for me. Ive also installed the 3Racing heavy duty gear sets but will be changing those out with the Axial sets once my lockers come in. Ive changed from 100wt oil in my Jatos all the way up to 3000wt diff lube, this was a big gain for me. the rig feels more predictable and lets me really ride my lines. a few action shots |
