Try setting your shocks up like mine, I dont have any problems with mine being stiff. I also would suggest mounting your upper links to the outside of the chassis like mine.............Also can you post a better pic of your truck from the side.

moving the links and spacing the shocks out fixed it

I just need to get my weight distribution right. It is still top heavy.

top-heavy? put more weight in the wheels. You don't have anything up high to make it top-heavy, weight in the wheels will make it feel more "planted".

does she stay on her side without flipping over? Ive got less weight in my tires and full size servo up high, she'll stand vertical and on her side without hesitation.

I haven't checked that yet. It's too bad that my rig is at home just sitting there, and I'm stuck in this place called work.

Compared to my last setup with the stock chassis the differences are :8cell missing, higher ride height, shocks mounted right side up. I will start with those areas and see if it helps.

It's amazing how easy it is to sort out my problems when I'm away from the rig

sitting at my rig it I'm like:neutral:

If I get these in time

Now that you say something, with this chassis the weight distribution is a bit different (I'm sure the dig plays a big part) than the stock chassis. I will mess around with the weight on my wheels.

Well, Eddie (defiepilex) and I left out of memphis at 4am so we could make it to the Green River in time. The courses were very challenging, and the area was amazing. I finished 4th out of 10 drivers. The CDW chassis performed greatly! The total carnage for the day was that I lost a body clip. There are a bunch of pics that were taken. ASAP I will get them uploaded. Thanks for taking the sweet pics Eddie!

-also
Thanks to Ken (mudboger07) for hooking me up with some sweet electronics mounts he made for me. I wouldn't have done as good as I did at the comp without them. I'll try to get some pics up of them soon.

to do list:
  • get a faster motor. my 55 just didn't cut it.
  • figure out why my 4wd is slipping into 2wd on steep inclines
  • get some CDW "bonus line" lockers for a no slop drivetrain when they come out
  • pick out some new foams for the panthers

Hopefully my wheels and some goodies from Yotachump will be here today. I'm still waiting on the KK links.

not sure.
If I were you, I would do some research i.e. measurements, price, and applications may/will be different.

dude

A grizzly one, at that. I'm going to try to lube the beads up. I need to re-do them again. I still managed to pull a bead after taking those pics.

The foams are great. Still using my oreo looking homemade hybrids.
