Thanks man! It was nice meeting you as well. Sorry we didn't have more time to hang out. I was either running around or really tired

That is a 860mah split pack. Going to a 1100mah now. I will have to move the servo and battery in and slightly over the diff now. Its worth it to get the narrower stance though.

You can't even tell it's a split pack where's the other battery lololol.

Yea am gonna go with a 1290mah Capacity 7.4 Volts 30mm X 49mm X 25mm, the measurements fit just right on the front plate. I was running a 2200 but now with the mods I have done to my steering and the way I have my rig setup have to run those big puppies on my rear bender 4 link plate. and am afraid that with a rollover a tumble the battery will come loose.

On the front axle, is the servo a direct mountto the axle or do you have a plate mounted to the axle housing and axle c

Your lucky, just took some yesterday with the VP dig installed and Axial shocks. Thanks for reminding me to post them.

Shocks installed. They work extremely well. I think I am going to pick up another pair to run in the back of my Slash too, they are soo smooth and perform flawlessly.

VP Dig installed. I love it, not a single issue while driving. Super easy to install too I am currently running it without any grease but I see no wear on the teeth of the drive side. The servo is overkill, but if I am going to run a full size servo I might as well use some power.

Rear 4 link, been messing with different setups for a while now. I keep coming back to this configuration. Overall the rig feels planted on climbs. Also lightened the wheels somewhat.

Nice looking build Brandon, but yours always are. I just ordered a VP dig and was wondering if your trans is "mirrored" or just fliped 180 in the frame. Thanks Bill

i run the vp dig and it works awesome
i just use the recommended 3 drops of 3 in 1 oil and its super smooth
i switched to rovers after my cpds cut into my chisels
so Nathan sent my chisels to pro-line for warranty and i have some ace's foams on the way
im eager to try them again

Hi mate

Do you have any close up pics of how and where the servo is mounted? I absolutely love the steering set up and would love to gain inspiration from the design (ie copy). The rig is well set up too.

Thanks
Kieren

Hey Kieren, I have some older pictures that I might be able to dig up. Right now I am running a different setup up front that I cant quite share yet. Soon though

Best I can tell from the above pic's. Looks as if the BTA is still present but changed slightly. Everything looks higher mounted, servo is on the other side and judging that the battery is still mounted on the axle as well. Great build. Keep us checking in

Yeah I would like some of the older ones as on page 6. I have pretty much figured it out, so don't worry if you can't find any pics!!
